Mostly, grants are given to individuals or families to help clear Water Debt or to help with Water Charges so that they can start to regain control of their weekly outgoings.
Other grants are available, in the form of 'Further Assistance'. They are made available where the Trustees can see that it will make a significant impact for a person. For example:
To provide a manageable budget in the future by relieving the pressure of other important or urgent bills.
To help relieve distress in crisis.
To provide an essential household item where no other source is available.
