Thaya has always looked for ways to help others, from friends and family members to others in the local community. At SureCare Liverpool, he aims to develop a trusted and well-respected brand, that is known throughout the local community for delivering quality care services.

Thaya’s previous background in the corporate world of IT gave him considerable experience of fast-paced working environments. However, he felt it wasn’t very satisfying and sought out more purpose in life. Wanting to give back to the local community, he embarked on bringing SureCare’s dynamic range of care services to Liverpool.

Thaya knows all too well the importance of providing essential support, having supported close family members with various healthcare needs. He has witnessed first-hand the additional care that’s been given by care workers and NHS staff. Ultimately, this inspired Thaya to start a business in home care and support others who require care services in their day-to-day lives.

Joanne Thomas
Branch Manager

Joanne has previously worked in various roles within the health and social care sector across several different settings. These include home care and supported living, which have given her diverse experience and a greater knowledge to help support people with a wide range of care needs.

She began her career as a care worker, quickly working her way up the ranks to a management role. This has allowed Joanne to gain a wealth of experience, alongside expanding her skill set and knowledge. She has an empathetic approach and draws from personal experiences while assessing the needs of an individual requiring support.

Joanne enjoys keeping her professional development up to date, following and adhering to any changes in current legislations needed to operate safely and effectively within the care sector. She understands the need for person-centred care and how important it is for everybody’s individual wants and needs to be met.

As the Branch Manager at SureCare Liverpool, Joanne aims to assist with growing the business in providing quality care. She does this through selecting appropriate staff, following safe recruitment practices and training them to her own high standards to ensure quality care services are delivered to people across the city. She also hopes to continue expanding her care knowledge, whilst also developing a greater understanding of business management in the role too.
